Was de auto en koplampen grondig. Zorg ervoor dat deze droog zijn voordat je begint zodat het afplaktape goed hecht op de lak.<\/p>\n<p>Bij sommige automodellen zijn de koplamp units erg eenvoudig te verwijderen. Hierdoor kun je nog beter bij de koplamp tijdens het schuren en polijsten. Indien dit niet of niet makkelijk te doen is, zorg er dan voor dat je de lak rond de koplamp goed afplakt. Zet de motorkap open zodat je voor jezelf meer werkruimte cre\u00ebert.<\/p>\n<p>Geen zin om verder te lezen? Schuur de koplamp grof<\/h2>\n<p>Zet de <a href=\"https:\/\/cartec.nl\/product\/polijsten-en-lakcorrectie\/schuren\/abralon-schuurschijven-77mm-255\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">P1000 schuurschijf<\/a> op de <a href=\"https:\/\/cartec.nl\/product\/polijsten-en-lakcorrectie\/machine\/rodac-schuurmachine-rc169-219\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rodac schuurmachine<\/a> en spray deze vochtig met water. Spray ook de koplamp vochtig met water.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tip: vul een werkflacon met water om makkelijk en controleerbaar te kunnen sprayen.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Let op, gebruik niet te veel water, want dan slijpt de schuurschijf minder. Te weinig water zorgt ervoor dat vervuiling niet goed wordt afgevoerd. Beweeg de schuurschijf met middelmatige snelheid en gelijkmatige druk over de koplamp.<\/p>\n<p>Zorg ervoor dat je alle delen goed raakt. Je zult zien dat er een melkachtige substantie ontstaat. Dit is residu wat je van de koplamp afslijpt. Na een aantal schuurgangen waarbij je vijftig procent overlapt tijdens het schuren, maak je de koplamp schoon en droog met een microvezeldoek. Je zal zien dat de koplamp compleet gematteerd is. Zorg ervoor dat hij overal dezelfde mattering heeft voor een gelijkmatig resultaat.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7944\" src=\"https:\/\/cartecworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Koplamp-polijsten4-700x467.jpg\" alt=\"Sanding headlight\" width=\"700\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Bij het schuren van koplampen begin je net als op lak met een relatief grove korrel, P1000. De P staat voor &#8216;particles&#8217;, wat &#8216;deeltjes&#8217; betekent. Hoe meer particles er in de schuurschijf zitten, hoe fijner deze schuurt. Mocht je nu extreem verweerde koplampen hebben, dan kun je ook beginnen met P500. Wees je er wel van bewust dat je hiermee sneller schuurt en meer ondergrond weg slijpt.<\/p>\n<h2>Stap 2. Schuur de koplamp licht<\/h2>\n<p>Plaats de <a href=\"https:\/\/cartec.nl\/product\/polijsten-en-lakcorrectie\/schuren\/abralon-schuurschijven-77mm-255\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">P2000 schuurschijf<\/a> op de schuurmachine en spray de schijf vochtig. Spray de koplamp vochtig en schuur de koplamp wederom. Om schuurkrassen volledig weg te halen, schuur je dubbel zo lang als bij stap 1. Heb je bijvoorbeeld 1 minuut geschuurd met P1000? Dan schuur je 2 minuten met P2000. Na het schuren maak je wederom de koplamp schoon en droog. Je zult zien dat er al helderheid in de koplamp ontstaat.<\/p>\n<h2>Stap 3. Schuur de koplamp op tot hoogglans<\/h2>\n<p>De laatste schuurstap is schuren met <a href=\"https:\/\/cartec.nl\/product\/polijsten-en-lakcorrectie\/schuren\/abralon-schuurschijven-77mm-255\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">P4000<\/a>. Hiermee verfijn je de schuurkrassen en is het makkelijker om hoogglans en de hoogst mogelijke helderheid in de koplamp te krijgen. Spray wederom de schuurschijf vochtig, evenals de koplamp. Schuur de koplamp tot je een gelijkmatig resultaat hebt bereikt over de gehele koplamp. Polijst de koplamp grof<\/h2>\n<p>Plaats de gele pad op de Rodac Polijstmachine. Breng <a href=\"https:\/\/cartec.nl\/product\/polijsten-en-lakcorrectie\/refinish\/compound-5000-68\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Refinish Compound 5000<\/a> aan op de pad en masseer de hele pad goed in met de compound. Dit zorgt voor een betere polijstende werking.<br \/>\nPolijst vervolgens de koplamp met een middelmatige armsnelheid waarbij je ook vijftig procent overlap aanhoudt. Veeg de polijst residu weg met een microvezeldoek. Herhaal dezelfde stap, maar dan met <a href=\"https:\/\/cartec.nl\/product\/polijsten-en-lakcorrectie\/refinish\/ultra-finish-12000-66\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Refinish Ultra Finish 12000<\/a> en de grijze polijstpad.<\/p>\n<h2>Bescherm de glans<\/h2>\n<p>Om je glimmende koplampen net een beetje extra te geven, kan je ze beschermen tegen slijtage en beschadigingen met de volgende behandelingen.<\/p>\n<p>Ontvet de koplamp eerst grondig met <a href=\"https:\/\/cartec.nl\/product\/polijsten-en-lakcorrectie\/refinish\/panel-spray-70\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Panel Spray<\/a>.
